Does Statesman Windows give free in home measure & quotes for supply and installation of windows & doors?

Our new quotation policy for "free in home measure and quotes" on window and door replacement applies for quotes of 3 or more products, and also includes our current 15% off offer*         

For quotes of less than 3 windows or doors, we recommend using our QUOTE REQUEST FORM which allows you to select from a basic list of products and information for us to quote from. If you have researched our product range, and know what you want, please email sales with your request. Please follow the instructions in the email for a more accurate estimation. You may also provide photos and drawings for extra detail as well. If you do not have email, you can fax us on 83451944 or call us on 83451911.

Our reps visiting hours are between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Please Note! Our service is for "replacement windows and doors" to existing homes.  We do not "supply and install" windows or doors for new builds or extensions. Your builder will need to supply us with sizes and we will manufacture and deliver them to site, supply only. 

How will my new replacement window finish look?

Does Statesman paint the new timberwork around my replacement window?

No we don't. We leave that bit for you or your painter to do. The timber will need to be prepped before it's painted. If you prefer pre primed MDF to be used, please let your sales rep know, as we use untreated Meranti as standard for replacement window jobs.

Do I need to be home for a quote appointment?

Yes. We prefer you to be there as it is important that the person who is requesting the quote be onsite at the appointment time.

This way we are able to communicate about any concerns that may arrise then and there and give the quote directly to you.

Note: Our reps require access to the inside and outside of your property, where the windows are located. We are unable to quote if you do not let us inside to inspect the internal finish of your current windows.

When can I pick up my window if it's ready?

We will call you on the phone number you provided on your quotation, when you window is ready for collection.



Do you visit or install after hours or on weekends?

Our sales  reps operate between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and our installers operate between 7am and 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. You will need to meet us or provide us with access to your property at a time arranged between these hours/days. 

Note: Our reps require access to the inside and outside of your property, where the windows are located. We are unable to quote if you do not let us inside to inspect the internal finish of your current windows.

How do I go about getting windows or doors replaced and how long will I wait?
  • Book in a free measure and quote with us by calling 8345 1911, or fill out this form so we can contact you at your convenience. 
  • Our rep will visit you at the time agreed.
  • Your quote will normally be prepared while you wait, otherwise you may request it posted or emailed.
  • Your quote will be valid for 30 days from the date printed.
  • Once you have accepted your quote and paid your deposit, you will be contacted a day or two later to book a check measure in with your installer. Please note; Our installers operate between 7am and 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. You will need to provide us with access to your property at a time arranged between these hours/days. Applies for both measures and installations.
  • Your installer will confirm the installation date with you at the time of check measuring. 
  • Depending on our work load, the average turnaround time can vary between 2 to 6 weeks from your order. 
  • Your products will be installed at the time and the day that both you and your installer agree to.
  • On the day of completion, you are required to pay the outstanding balance. Either directly to your installer, by cash or cheque, or by ringing through with your credit card number. If you are paying by EFT, please inform us immediately to ensure your payment is applied to your specific job.
How do I proceed with my quote/order?

Please check all details on your quote are correct at time of accepting. You will be supplied with the goods and services as described on your quote. Any errors or terms you do not understand must be brought to your sales representatives attention before you sign off on the acceptance. You will find their name and phone number at the top of your quote. 

Have ready your signed acceptance (located at the bottom of your quote) and at least a 50% deposit. You may call your rep and have them collect your acceptance in person, fax or email it, or simply visit our showroom during business hours and see one of our staff. You may also ring through with your credit card number to make a payment. Please note that your payment is not accepted as a form of quote acceptance. You will still need to sign off on the quote to proceed with your order in any case. This is to ensure you have read the terms and conditions and understand exactly what you are ordering. Please be advised that the balance of payment is required 2 days prior to delivery for supply only jobs, and on the day of completion for supply and installation jobs.

What payment types does Statesman accept?

Statesman accepts Visa, MasterCard, Cheque, Cash and Electronic funds Transfer (EFT) on request. NOTE! It is imperative that payments made via EFT are referred to in our payment reference section with your Statesman quote, job or invoice number which is located at the top of your quote. By doing so, you can ensure your payment is applied immediately to your job. Faliure to use the quote number as reference to payment may result in a delay with your job. Please advise us when you choose EFT to make payments so we are aware of you doing so.

I need to make changes to my order. Who do I contact?

You will have an assigned sales representative.  Their name and phone number is located at the top of your quote.  Should you need to discuss any changes or issues, your sales representative is your go-to person for all enquiries. Please be aware; Any changes made after placement of order will incur a charge.

Where do I email house plans and documents to your estimators?

Please send all plans, energy reports and window schedules for quoting purposes to this email.  Once received, we will endeavor to get back to you within 5 to 7 working days.  This service is for estimating on new house lots and large developments etc. For small jobs without plans and energy reports, or for general information, please email here.

Do Statesman only manufacture "standard" size windows and doors?

Statesman specialise in non-standard sizes to suit your needs. We can work around your requirements, manufacturing windows and doors to suit your needs. (Within design parameters) Standard sizes are also available at lower costs.

Do Statesman stock windows and doors ready made to buy off the shelf?

We don't keep windows in stock to sell instantly of the shelf. They are made fresh from factory to you. We make everything to measure and can usually beat manufacturing times of our competitors. 

How many colours do you have to choose from?

We have over 100 powder coat colours to choose from, including the popular Colorbond® range and a 25um Natural Anodised (satin silver) finish. Costs may vary, and colours are subject to availability. Click here for our colour range.

Note! Bronze Anodised is no longer available for window and door frames due to inconsistent colour variations beyond our control. We have replaced Bronze Anodised with a powder coated equivalent called Anodic Bronze, which is a very similar match, and comes without any colour variation issues. Bronze Anodised is still available for flyscreens and security doors though, if required. So chances are we can match or come very close to a colour finish to suit your home or project.

How long does it take to get a free quote?

For a supply and install quote; usually within a week of calling us we can have one of our representatives visit you in your own home to prepare an on the spot quote.

For supply only house lots submitted with plans, window schedule and energy report; approximately 5 to 7 working days from receiving plans.

For small jobs and one of supply only quotes; please call us or come into our showroom and see one of our sales team and have your quote prepared while you wait. *conditions apply

How long does it take to supply and fit shower screens or security doors in my house?

Normally between 7 to 10 work days from your order.

What are your sales representatives visiting hours?

Our reps visiting hours are between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Fridays.

Can Statesman cut out an opening in my wall and fit a door or window?

Yes, generally we can, subject to site inspection, and if we can't, we usually know someone who can.

Does Statesman deliver to country locations or only metro areas?

Yes we do country deliveries. We deliver to a radius approximately 200kms from Adelaide, including the lower mid north, Yorke Peninsula, upper south east, Kangaroo Island and the south coast. For west coast and further north or south eastern deliveries, you will need to organize freight transport of your choice. *conditions apply.

How long does it take to get windows made and delivered for supply only jobs?

A single window can normally be made and delivered within a week or less*. A house lot of windows can be made and delivered within 7 to 10 work days*. A deposit is required to proceed with any order and the balance is required to be paid at least 2 days before the delivery date, to ensure your goods arrive on the date you need them. *conditions apply.

Do Statesman have lay-by, payment plans or finance options available?

Sorry, we do not provide these options at this point in time.

When do I need to pay the balance for my supply and installation job?

As a non-Trade account holder or cash customer; you must pay your balance in full on the day of completion. For Trade account application forms, please call 8345 1911 or email accounts for more information.
